Mrs Sayles told the Telegraph the strange happenings began when she was watching another UK Living series, Most Haunted Live, on May 6 two years ago. The show was asking for viewers to take part in a variation of the Ouija board and Mrs Sayles (36) did just that.
South Jersey Ghost Research Posts Intriguing Photos
South Jersey Ghost Research (SJGR) has posted some very intriguing photos recently taken at the Burlington County Prison Museum during a recent investigation. The Burlington County Prison Museum has been investigated by the Ghost Hunters, the Long Island Paranormal Investigators have taken a stab at the place, and the Delaware Ghosts Hunters promised an update to their investigation by the end of April but didn’t get around to it.
However the SJGR photos may have trumped them all!
Reincarnation: Fact or Fiction?
As I wrote the flashback scenes, it occurred to me that the past life I wrote about in The Jaguar Legacy was one of my own. Certainly, it was the part of the book that flowed most easily, the only part that required little or no editing. Not only did the flashbacks evolve painlessly, but while writing those scenes, I discovered many facets of the physical location I had been unaware of at the beginning of the book.

Hunting the Ghost Hunters
Here are a few of my thoughts on TAPS and some of the other shows I discovered along the way. Before I get too far in let me give the disclaimer that I am an open skeptic. What I mean by this is that I WOULD LOVE to have a documented paranormal experience. I can't personally say that I have had one. I'm open to it. But at the same time I have to experience it first hand and be able to obtain irrefutible evidence as to the occurence.
Let The Investigations Begin
We are planning a trip (if all goes well) to investigate Black Hand Gorge state park, just outside of Toboso off of State Route 146. Stephanie, the other lead investigator and founder of R.I.P. happens to be a Sensitive and knows for sure that there is something there. If you have ever been there and walked through the old tunnel, you may have noticed a "creepy feeling". I noticed this years back when I went there and was positive that there was something there but I didn't say anything as I didn't want people to think I was crazy.

Ghost hunters to check out Bristol Town Hall
Historian Helen Fox said she called the New York Paranormal Investigators Group to allay the fears of a few deputies leery of using the sheriff’s satellite office in the Town Hall on County Road 32 during evening and night shifts.
The Specters of Oom
Soon after the purchase strange things began to happen in these buildings. Lights in administration offices would turn on and off all by themselves. Various objects in the offices of the old mansion would fly off tables.When you would venture in the attic and through the many secret maze of passageways that criss cross around the inner walls of the mansion after hours you would hear strange music and often voices when no one was there.
Is it Gone?
At about 7pm the group members started showing up. Our member who was going to lead us in the cleansing was late and we waited patiently for her to arrive. While we were sitting in the living room waiting, we all heard a loud crash in the kitchen. It sounded like a screech and then a clunk. It was fairly quick and we all turned around and went into the kitchen to see what happened.
Sleep Paralysis
It only happens for a short while, usually in a dream or between waking, I go into a sort of paralysis where I am rendered helplessly slaved by this demonic thing which begins attacking me and draining me at the same time.

The reason they came there was that Booth and his brother, Philip, were filming an in-depth investigation of the house, complete with a Hoosier spirit communicator and lots of laptops, lasers and gizmos that squeaked and even talked. Million Ghost March to Haunt Skeptics Convention
Clairvoyants, mediums and psychics worldwide have been invited to contact spirits in a major nonviolent protest of an annual convention of skeptics taking place at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, June 19-22, 2008. “For too long, paranormal skeptics have mocked people with a curiosity about ghosts, spirits and the afterlife. The Million Ghost March was conceived as an opportunity to turn the tables on these unimaginative naysayers,” said Peter Fenton, organizer of the massive effort. He operates the blog Ask Doc Paranormal.

Haunted Car Park?
This car park is reported to be haunted. It is suggested in Haunted Birmingham (a book by Arthur Smith and Rachel Bannister) that sightings of the ghost could possibly be Phillip Matsell (the last person in Birmingham to be executed and which took place here at the corner of Ludgate Car Park and Snow Hill). It could, I reflect, be a person(s) killed as a direct result of a 2nd World War bomb via the destroyed tenant back to back housing that once stood here.

Paranormal experts investigate Fort Benton's ghostly happenings
Once home to the "bloodiest street in the West," Fort Benton naturally has a few former residents who aren't too happy about how they became former residents. Armed with cameras, electromagnetic field readers and digital thermometers, paranormal investigators recently spent the night at the town's famous 125-year-old hotel, the Grand Union, and uncovered mysterious blue and red orbs, ghostly faces, growling voices and a flashlight that went bump in the night.

Waverly Hills
So far, our trip to the Waverly Hills Sanatorium has proven to be the ultimate ghost hunting rush, especially for beginners such as ourselves. Some of what we experienced included slamming of the old rusted hospital doors with no visible physical force, voices, pounding on walls coming from unoccupied rooms, the sound of running bath water (although no plumbing or electricity has been installed in the building for over 20 years), "shadow people" (silouhettes of people walking about the halls that frequently disappeared into mid air), appirations of unidentified people, which disappeared within seconds, footsteps with no visible source, and being touched by something that was not visibly present.
Pennsylvania Ghosts "Erie Cemetery"
The Erie cemetery is said to be haunted. There are a few locations that are definitely eerie. The first one is a mausoleum. It's blackened, like it was burned. There's no name on it, but you can tell that there used to be one. It also has a lot of vampire like designs on it. The other area is called the Witches Circle. It is a group of tombstones that are in the shape of a circle. Some of them are burnt black. Legend has it that Satan came to get his loyal followers.

Hauntings in Gettysburg
What I found fascinating was the ghost stories that prevail at Gettysburg. One is about an alley where if you take a picture of yourself in the alley, the alley will be visible, but not the person. So he tested it out and sure enough, he wasn't in the picture. :) At Gettysburg College, the Pennsylvania Hall was turned into a field hospital during the Civil War and sentries are seen pacing across the cupola.

Investigation: Brookdale Lodge
Bud was laying on the bed and felt something rolling around his right calf. A pressure like two magnets pushing away from each other. Along with this was a cold spot. Bud lifted his head to see if his pant leg was moving but could not see anything. He called Deborah over and she felt the cold spot but could not see anything moving. Bud then felt it move in-between his calves, like a cat would to get comfortable or warm.

A night in the Hawarden home
On Saturday night I spent the night in one of West Valleys oldest homes. The house was founded by Mormon pioneers in the late 1800's. It's known as the Hawarden house after the first familys last name. The house is owned by old family friends and has been published about in local newspapers. It's also a official historical site. I grew up with the family and have heard alot of the paranormal stories behind the house. When they were digging up ground for the swimming pool they also found pioneer graves from the 1800's.

The Poe Museum
The most common paranormal occurrence claimed to happen at the Poe Museum is the presence of ghostly small children. They have only been sighted a few times, but sounds of their footsteps and laughter are heard more often. One morning as a museum employee was opening the museum, he opened the door to the small room too forcefully and it banged into the wall. From the ceiling came a few knocks in response. He knocked back on the wall, and more knocks responded. When he searched the upstairs, no one was there.
